This one is useful, far beyond pick up.
How many areas of life are we all AFCs?
Simple answer: Most
In a given area of life, or in a particular skill where you don’t know how to be at least reasonably successful, and have a reasonably good time doing it… You’re an AFC.
And if you know you want/need to improve in an area, then find a way to improve… lest you slide back in to the foul pit of AFC.
I wanted to learn martial arts. I was an MA AFC. Once I made the decision to change that, I spent almost a decade researching over 20 schools across 2 different states, before finding the instructor I stuck with for 7 years.
I don’t know if I’m a super badass at karate. But I’m much less of an MA AFC than I used to be.
Keep smiling,
Mack
